RN - NCICU

Job Details:

* 48 guaranteed hours available
* Patient ratio of 2:1
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 8 RNs; night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 8 RNs
* Work at least 4 weekends per schedule period
* Unit located on Floor 7EE, Building E
* 16-bed unit with a staff of 46
* ICU experience required - candidates without this skill will not be considered
* Meditech EMR experience preferred
* Oncology and neuro experience preferred
* Typical procedures include central line and arterial line placement and intubation
* EVD placement managed by core staff
* Float to all ICUs, BMT, and PCU floors as needed
* Required certification: ACLS
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
* Ideal candidate is a team player, accountable, and caring

Facility:

This facility operates a Neuroscience/Cardiac ICU unit with 16 beds and a dedicated team of 46 staff members. The unit utilizes standard ICU equipment and the Meditech electronic medical records system. The facility provides comprehensive critical care services and maintains a structured staffing model to ensure quality patient care across day and night shifts.
