MRI Technologist

Job Details:

* Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:15 PM with call
* At least one day of call required per week
* Maximum 7 days requested time off - must be willing to add to end of assignment
* Minimum 3 years of recent hospital experience required (not including Per Diem)
* Minimum 2 years of GE experience required
* Level 3 trauma experience required
* ARRT-MR certification required - ARMRIT certification alone will not be accepted
* ARRT-R certification required
* Epic charting system experience required
* GE equipment experience required
* Navy scrubs required
* Will assist with breast patients and positioning
* Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include: abdomen, abdominal MRA/MRV, brain, breast, cervical, chest, diffusion imaging, ER/trauma, female and male pelvis, gradient echo imaging, hip/bony pelvis, knee, lumbar, MRCP, multiplanar reconstruction, peripheral MRA, preparation and administration of contrast media, shoulder, spinal trauma, starting peripheral IVs, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, and additional MRI modalities

This is a 186-bed Magnet-designated teaching hospital offering a high level of specialized care including Level 3 trauma services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides free parking in any unrestricted space.
