Job Details:

* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
* Required certification: BLS
* Work in main OR covering General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal specialties
* Both circulating and scrubbing experience required (hard stop requirement)
* 16 OR rooms with an average daily census of 35 patients
* Unit systems include Epic, Pyxis, and 2 Da Vinci XI Robots
* Scrub attire provided by facility
* Self-scheduling with a maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th?12th); all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* Weekend coverage: 2?3 weekends per 8-week schedule, either in-house or on call
* Floating is rare but may occur within facility and scope of practice as needed
* Call requirements: 7?8 calls per 8-week schedule, including 1 weekend call, 1?2 weekend shifts, and 2?3 weekday night call shifts
* Call shifts are either C1: 7:00 PM?7:00 AM or C2: 7:00 AM?7:00 PM
* Holiday work expectations: 1?2 major holidays worked if they fall within the assignment period; if 3 holidays fall within the assignment period, 2 must be worked
* Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Orientation hours: 72 hours
* Required skills include but are not limited to: robotic surgery (gynecologic, neurological, orthopedic, urologic, colorectal), total joint replacement, craniotomy, spinal procedures (laminectomy, lumbar fusion, ALIF, XLIF), laparoscopic-assisted cases, vascular procedures, and Whipple procedure
