Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Facility is closed on weekends, however may be required to call in Sunday evenings to order doses for Monday
* Facility is closed on major holidays
* No on-call responsibilities
* 2+ years of acute care experience required; first-time travelers accepted only with 5+ years of experience
* Work with mostly adult patients with occasional pediatric cases
* Common diagnoses and procedures include thyroid cancer, lung scans, HIDA scans, HIDA with EF, scan and uptake, 3 face bone scans, and whole body bone scans
* Required skills include stress tests, starting peripheral IVs, I131 and I123, Spec CT, and ordering doses
* May work independently or alongside another Nuclear Medicine Technologist
* EMR system: EPIC
* PACS system: Philips View
* Unit equipment includes Siemens Symbia EVO, GE Optima Spect, and Nutrec for pharmacy
* Floating to MultiCare Imaging Yakima location approximately 5 minutes away may be required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-N or NMTCB-CNMT
* Washington state license required - must be in hand or have proof of application submitted 6+ weeks prior
* Scrub color: Any solid color

Facility:

This facility is a 226-bed Level III trauma center equipped with 2 Nuclear Medicine rooms and cameras, averaging 4 to 10 patients per day. The facility offers a focused and collaborative environment for Nuclear Medicine Technologists, utilizing modern imaging equipment and technology to support a range of diagnostic procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.
