Opportunity:

Level I Emergency Department RN

Job Details:

* Work in a Level I Emergency Department setting
* Care for admitted patients waiting in the ED for bed availability, in a designated area or possibly the hallway
* ER holding patient ratio of 6:1
* Acute Care and Medical Surgical Telemetry experience required
* If no patients are being boarded, may be utilized in an acute care area
* Every other weekend and some holidays required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers considered based on previous experience
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Must have prior experience with Cerner charting system
* Must have Tennessee license or compact license in hand at time of submittal
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
* Block scheduling available
* 2 references required; can be pending at time of submittal

This healthcare facility operates a Level I Emergency Department providing comprehensive emergency care services. The facility supports multidisciplinary care teams and utilizes Cerner as its electronic charting system. The organization maintains high standards of patient care and supports both boarded and acute care patients within the emergency department setting.
