Job Details:

* Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* On-call required: up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
* Weekend requirement: up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
* Holiday coverage required: must work at least one holiday period (Christmas: December 24?26 or New Year's: December 31?January 1)
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* 2 years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (radiation badge to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred; RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Parking permit available with a one-time $20 registration fee for a hang tag granting access to the designated parking garage
* Patient age groups served: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available: Interpretation Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, operating within a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven department that provides cutting-edge technology and care to the surrounding community.
