Opportunity:
ICU RN - Will Float to MS TELE
Job Details:
* 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call requirements
* Must be open to floating where most needed between ICU and MS/Tele units
* ICU patient ratio: 1:1-2 | MS/Tele patient ratio: 1:4-5
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted
* Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Cerner charting experience preferred
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Free parking available
* Must be proficient with standard med/surg and telemetry equipment
* Liko lifts available in almost all patient rooms
* Neuro and trauma experience required
* Must be able to care for all types of critically ill patients including adults and geriatrics
* Looking for well-rounded travelers with ICU/PCU experience or strong MS/Tele background
* Required skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, CVA/acute stroke management, ICP monitoring, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, traumatic brain injury care, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
* Must adhere to quality and patient safety standards including medication administration (BCMA)
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-recognized teaching hospital and Level IV trauma center with 87 total staffed beds. The ICU unit consists of 13 beds across 11 rooms with a daily census of 6 to 8 patients. The facility utilizes Cerner for charting and supports a multidisciplinary care model with access to physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams. The organization is committed to high standards of patient safety and quality care.
