Open Position: RN - L&D

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3106.12

Opportunity:

RN - OB

Job Details:

* Full-time position working 36 hours per week
* Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* May rotate shifts and areas as staffing and census requires
* On-call required
* Provide direct patient care to women in labor, through delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
* Perform assessments and monitor progress of labor
* Prepare for C-sections and inductions with proper nursing documentation
* Administer care during labor, post-delivery, and postpartum including infant care and patient education
* Prepare delivery room, provide emotional support, and coordinate patient transfers
* Administer IV medications and adhere to infection control principles
* Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and perform heavy lifting
* 4 years of experience in obstetrics care preferred
* Current Colorado RN licensure required
* Current CPR certification required
* Neonatal Resuscitation Certification and ACLS required within one year of employment
* Knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, and technical aspects of mother/infant care required
* Must be able to perform effectively in highly stressful situations and interact with a wide variety of people
