Open Position: RN - Rehab Inpatient

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1736.68

Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient Rehab

Job Details:

* Work on a 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit on the 3S floor
* Patient ratios of 5:1 with a maximum of 6:1
* Day shift includes 1 charge nurse (takes full patient load), 2 RNs, and 1 CNA
* Night shift includes 1 charge nurse (takes full patient load), 2 RNs, and 1 CNA
* Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
* On-call seldom required unless overall hospital census is low
* Perform patient transfers, bladder scans, dressing changes, and medication administration
* Use equipment including VS machines, transfer equipment (Hoyer lift, sliding boards), EKG, and bladder scanner
* Document using Meditech EMR and Pyxis
* Conduct bedside report/handoff, hourly rounding, and ensure bed alarm activation
* Float to Med-Surge, Tele, Renal, Urology, Orthopedic, and Overflow Units between hospitals (excludes ICU)
* Transfer training and EMR proficiency required
* Rehab experience and rehab scoring documentation preferred
* Required certifications: BLS and RN Licensure
* Strong teamwork skills and ability to take initiative preferred
