Rad Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

* Cover OR, Fluoroscopy, and float positions as required
* Weekend rotation required based on departmental needs
* Variable shift times - days or evenings depending on department needs
* 6-week scheduling cycles
* No on-call required
* Holiday rotation shared with other techs
* Average of 25-30 scans per day
* Work with adult and geriatric patient populations with some pediatric patients
* Care areas include outpatient, inpatient, ED/ICU/MedSurg, and Operating Room
* Perform Fluoroscopy, C-Arm in OR, Ortho/Ortho Trauma, ICU, MedSurg, and ER procedures including chest X-rays, abdominal scans, and vascular imaging
* OR/C-arm experience required
* Fluoroscopy experience required - candidates without Fluoro experience but strong overall skills may be submitted to manager for approval
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R)
* Maine State license required
* EMR: Cerner
* PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA
* Equipment includes Siemens, T-Rad, Cannon Ultimax Hybrid C-arm, Phillips C-Arm, OEC C-arm, and various portable units
* Scrub color: any solid professional color or facility-provided scrubs available
* Free parking available
* Orientation period of 1 to 1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level

Facility:

This 89-licensed-bed teaching facility provides comprehensive imaging services across multiple care settings including outpatient, inpatient, ED, ICU, MedSurg, and the Operating Room. The department features three imaging rooms, multiple mobile units, and advanced equipment to support a wide range of radiological procedures. A Lead Tech and internal transport are available for departmental support, and a Radiologist is on site three days a week with remote reading services available the remaining days.
