Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour mid-shifts from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 1:5
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule accommodation can be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Free parking available
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Must be comfortable treating all patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Key skills include triage, IV insertion and management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, BiPAP/CPAP management, central line care and management, care of ventilated patients, and emergency medication administration
* Additional skills include management of trauma cases, splinting, phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG/ECG interpretation, and management of behavioral and psychiatric conditions

This free-standing emergency department facility features 14 patient rooms including a dedicated resuscitation room, providing specialized emergency care services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers interdisciplinary support including phlebotomy and radiology services.
