Job Details:

* Rotational 12-hour shifts, both days (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) and nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holidays as needed
* No on-call or standby requirement; optional overtime opportunities available
* 48-hour shifts and first to float designation apply
* Schedule made 6 weeks in advance with consideration for sleep schedules; block scheduling available
* 2x12-hour shifts of unit/department specific orientation provided
* Must have a minimum of 3 years of LDRP experience
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (Advanced preferred), STABLE
* Profile review and manager interview required
* Must be able to titrate drips including pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and occasional insulin drips
* Experience with common medications including procardia, labetolol push, TXA, methergine, hemabate, cytotec, and cervidil required
* Must be comfortable triaging patients based on experience in a 3-bay triage setting
* Ability to scrub preferred
* Expected to read telemetry in Phase 1 recovery for C-section patients
* Charting system: EPIC
* BSN not required
* Surgical scrubs provided
* Floating may be required to Peds MS, NICU (feeder-growers), med/surg, PCU, ICU, ED, or Psych units as 1:1 sitter or helping hands
* Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks
* RTO of 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved

Facility:

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering comprehensive obstetric and surgical services. The LDRP unit includes 7 labor and delivery beds, 12 postpartum beds, 8 surgical beds, and a dedicated C-section OR alongside 2 gynecological surgical suites. The unit maintains a high standard of patient care with 24/7 OB and neonatology on-call coverage, in-house anesthesia around the clock, and a charge nurse present on every shift. The facility follows AWHONN guidelines for staffing ratios and utilizes EPIC for electronic charting.
