Opportunity:

CT Scan Technologist (Inpatient)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 3 call days required monthly
* Minimum two years of clinical experience in CT scanning required
* Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* Produce diagnostic CT scans and assist radiologist in diagnostic CT scan procedures
* Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist
* Coordinate daily workflow and assist in throughput of emergency room, in-patients, and outpatients
* Provide advanced imaging for trauma, stroke, and code aorta cases
* Manage care prioritization with rapidly changing patient volumes
* Must be proficient in CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment
* Operate hospital and departmental computer systems
* Provide patient care for neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
* May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
* May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift per schedule period
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ARRT(R), ARRT(CT)
* Required licenses: State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography
