PCU/Stepdown RN

Job Details:

* PCU/Stepdown RN position requiring cardiac drip experience including titration and management
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Block schedules not required
* Expected patient ratios of 1:4-5
* 48-hour shifts approved
* Position may float between units; if overstaffed, travelers are first to float to Telemetry or Medical/Surgical floors
* Candidates may choose one holiday, either Thanksgiving or Christmas, but cannot have both
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Any color for RNs
* No parking fee
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, blood product administration, central line care and management, peripheral line care and management, cardiac drip management and titration, nasal cannula and oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions/PPE, telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center as well as a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 total staffed beds. As a teaching hospital, it supports a wide range of clinical education and specialty services, providing comprehensive care across multiple units and disciplines.
