Opportunity:

LTAC MS/TELE - DAYS

Job Details:

* Day shift position with 36 or 48 hours per week available
* Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
* Some weekend shifts required, with weekend coverage supported by rotating call among 6 to 8 staff members
* On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call
* Minimum 2 years of medical/telemetry experience required
* Neurology experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills: complex wound care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care and management
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Float to other units and campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to qualified areas where competencies have been demonstrated
* Pre-assignment testing and modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information

Facility:

This long-term acute care facility specializes in providing complex medical and telemetry services to adult and geriatric patient populations. The facility maintains a daily census of approximately 15 patients and offers robust interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.
