Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with variable start times
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if qualifications are met
* Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
* Outpatient endoscopy experience required
* Pre/post procedure experience required
* Inpatient experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Prior teaching hospital experience preferred
* Prior travel experience within 12 months required
* BSN required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
* California RN license required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 40
* Skilled in recovering conscious sedation, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and balloon dilators
* Experience with administering and monitoring conscious sedation and monitored anesthesia care sedation required
* Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
* Experience with specimen handling and labeling, polyp snares, lithotripters, forceps, and foreign body equipment required
* Ability to obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG, start and maintain IVs, and manage airways required
* Experience with esophageal varices and banding, Provation, and ERBE portable electrical coagulation instrument preferred
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
