Open Position: RN - Orthopedics

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $4003.36

Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts or 4x12 night shifts available, with shift hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend coverage required, subject to change based on needs
* Floating to like units based on skill set may be required
* Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required
* Travel experience required - first-time travelers will not be accepted
* Must have at least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
* Active Tennessee RN license or multistate license required
* Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Patient ratio experience of 1:6
* Daily census of 15-20 patients with 30-bed unit
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Medication system: Omnicell
* Key skills include: blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, telemetry, starting and maintaining IVs, feeding tube care and management, colostomy/ileostomy management, and total joint replacement care
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
* Floating to other units and campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to units where competencies have been demonstrated
