Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac/Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees are available
* Overtime is not billable until after 48 hours
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Must have true Cardiac Unit experience - this is NOT a Stepdown unit
* Patients on unit are Cardiac and Telemetry
* Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
* Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs
* EMR used: Epic - Epic experience is required
* Required certifications: BLS via AHA, ACLS via AHA
* RN License in state of employment or compact required
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
* Provide routine and complex care, practicing independently in cardiac and telemetry clinical setting
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness
* Assess and address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
* Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed

This healthcare facility operates a dedicated Cardiac and Telemetry unit providing specialized cardiac care in a full-time clinical setting. The unit emphasizes independent nursing practice and competency-based care delivery, with nurses providing both routine and complex patient care.
