Job Details:

* 5x8 evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
* Weekend shifts and on-call coverage required as needed for department
* Call required with amount depending on staffing needs
* Up to 3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule if needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Strong robotics experience required, including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
* Orthopedic total joint experience required
* Cardiac experience required
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
* Travel experience required
* 5 years of experience preferred
* Charting system: EPIC (preferred)
* Required certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA
* Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical procedures including laparoscopic, robotic, orthopedic, vascular, and general surgery cases
* Patients served include adolescents and adults

This short-term acute care hospital is a 426-bed facility operating as a Level II Trauma Center, providing comprehensive surgical services across a wide range of specialties. The facility is part of a well-established regional health system and offers robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries. The surgical department is equipped with advanced technology to support complex and high-acuity cases.
