Open Position: RN - Med Surg

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2739.40

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg / OB

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week guaranteed
* Shift preference of straight days or straight nights will be considered - please indicate candidate's preference upon submission
* Every other weekend and holiday required
* 3 call shifts required within a 13-week contract
* Float between OB and Med Surg units
* 25-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 to 4 to 1 for Med/Surg depending on census and acuity
* Perform Med Surg and OB nursing duties
* Must be able to function independently in the ER and in the Med Surg unit
* Charting system: EPIC (computer training provided)
* Additional training includes 1 day of OB training and 1 day of Med Surg training
* Equipment used includes Sanford One Charge and Pyxis
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs, no logos; white may be worn underneath uniform or white lab coat
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Minimum 6 months of Med Surg experience in the past year required
* Minimum 6 months of OB experience in the past year required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
* Preferred certification: TNCC
* PALS required
* BSN not required
* Must badge in and out at the facility

Facility:

This acute care facility offers a well-rounded clinical environment supporting both Medical Surgical and Obstetrics nursing. The unit operates with 25 beds and maintains a structured nurse-to-patient ratio to ensure quality care. The facility utilizes EPIC for electronic charting and provides comprehensive onboarding training to support clinical staff in delivering safe and effective patient care across multiple departments.
