RN LABOR AND DELIVERY

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM, 3 days per week
* Variable days of the week scheduling
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs
* On-call required per unit needs
* Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
* First-time travelers accepted as long as experience requirements are met
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Scrub color: Navy
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Fast-paced environment with approximately 150 births per month
* Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit with 14 staffed beds
* Circulate in the OR and scrub for C-sections
* Place internal monitors and manage OB triage patients
* Manage laboring and high-risk OB patients
* Experience with Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin induction, and cytotec induction required
* Ability to manage pre-eclampsia, HELLP Syndrome, postpartum hemorrhage, and high-risk antepartum patients
* Experience with external and internal fetal monitoring required
* Facility delivers down to 31 weeks/1500g
* Special equipment includes IUPC, FSE, Fetal Monitoring, and Jada
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (hard requirement)
* Compact state license accepted

Facility:

This facility features a dedicated Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit with 14 staffed beds and a daily census of 5 to 10 patients. The unit delivers approximately 150 births per month, including high-risk cases, and supports deliveries down to 31 weeks gestational age. Comprehensive interdisciplinary support is available on-site, including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services. The unit includes one OR and PACU on the floor and an 18-bed postpartum and OB/GYN unit.
