Opportunity:

TRAVEL - RN - Med/Surg (648)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Neuro Med/Surg unit with 38 beds
* Night shift staffing includes 1-2 charge nurses, 4-5:1 RN patient ratio, and 2 PCTs
* Patient ratios of 5:1 or 6:1 (estimated, never guaranteed)
* Work with equipment including IV pumps, seizure monitoring, Bi-pap, C-pap, and glucometers
* EMR system: Meditech
* Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg experience required
* BLS certification required
* ACLS certification preferred
* Neuro experience preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* Perform NIH/stroke assessments, neuro assessments, and fall risk assessments
* Provide trach care and feeding tube management
* Strong critical thinking, initiative, and collaborative skills expected
* Must be enthusiastic about neuro patient population and able to multi-task effectively
