Job Details:

* Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Holiday rotation required
* 1 weekend shift required per 4-week schedule period
* On-call required - up to 4 call shifts per 4-week schedule period
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs or between sister facilities required
* Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* Common cases include: Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (craniotomy, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, GU/GYN
* Preferred experience in Neuro (spines/craniotomy), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (DaVinci Xi) cases
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Required certifications: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), BLS
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Radiation badge required - must be provided by agency
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: EPIC
* Parking available for $20 registration fee for a hang tag to access the parking garage

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with RNs trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The department is a busy and dynamic nurse-driven environment that provides cutting-edge technology to the surrounding community.
