Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac ICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend schedule required
* Acute care setting
* Minimum of 2 years of experience required with at least 1 prior travel assignment
* Strong background in cardiac procedures required, with emphasis on cath lab interventions, STEMIs, and post-code patients
* Experience with post-interventional radiology procedure patients preferred
* May care for Medical and/or Surgical ICU patients when no other ICU beds are available
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
* Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius restriction

This acute care facility features a specialized cardiac intensive care unit focused on delivering high-acuity cardiac care to critically ill patients. The unit primarily manages complex cardiac cases including cath lab interventions, STEMI patients, and post-code care, while also supporting overflow medical and surgical ICU patients as needed. The facility utilizes MEDITECH as its electronic charting system and maintains high standards for patient care across its critical care departments.
