Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

* Work 4 nine-hour shifts per week
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Holiday coverage done in rotation with other technicians
* Schedules are created on a 4-week basis to the best of ability
* Specific shift times will vary based on need
* Cover outpatient and inpatient care areas
* Primarily treat adult and geriatric patients with very few pediatric patients
* Average of 90 patients seen per day across three linacs
* Float as needed to cover linacs
* Orientation period of 1 to 1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level
* Preferred experience with Mosaiq EMR system
* Preferred experience with TrueBeam equipment
* Work with Varian Linacs equipment
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (T)
* Maine State license for Radiation Therapy required
* Scrub color: any solid professional color or provided by facility if needed

Facility:

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center that receives air flights and serves two-thirds of the state, functioning as the closest trauma center within a two-hour radius. It is also a certified stroke center with 411 beds. The radiation therapy department is equipped with three Varian TrueBeam Linacs and one Siemens Somatom Go Open Pro CT Simulator, supporting a high-volume outpatient and inpatient radiation therapy program.
