Open Position: Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech OR

Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - CST - OR

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM Monday through Friday
* Saturday and Sunday shifts are on-call only
* Night call hours run from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday with no overnight requirement
* 30-minute on-call response time required
* Work in Spine and Joint OR across 3 operating rooms including the International Hip Preservation Center
* Staff 8 to 11 rooms daily with one Charge RN and one Unit Secretary per day shift
* Perform spine fusions, ALIFs, OLIFs, DLIFs, ACDFs, ACDRs, and total joint replacement procedures
* Experience with large spinal fusions required
* Spine scrub and joint scrub experience preferred
* Minimum 6 months of current hospital CST experience required
* EMR system used: Meditech
* Scrubs are provided for OR and CST staff
* Required certifications: BLS, DORA, and NBSTA (must be currently active)

Facility:

This facility features a dedicated Spine and Joint Hip Preservation Center along with a Spine and Joint OR, offering a highly specialized surgical environment. The unit operates with a team of 60 staff members and maintains a well-structured day and night call system. The facility is equipped with modern technology to support a wide range of complex spinal and joint procedures, providing an excellent environment for experienced surgical technologists.
