Open Position: RN - Radiology

TRAVEL - IR RN (727)

Job Details:

* Work day shifts rotating between 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM and 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
* Located on the 1st floor in the Main building of the facility
* Unit operates with 4 technicians and 4-5 RNs on day shift; night shift is on-call
* On-call required on weekdays (including overnights) and weekends, averaging 8-12 shifts per month
* Must be within a 30-minute response time when on call
* Patient ratios are not applicable for this unit
* GE equipment used throughout the unit
* EMR system: Meditech
* Minimum 1 year of current IR RN acute care experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
* Ventilator and drip management experience required
* Perform basic IR procedures including drains, as well as more complex cases such as SIR-Spheres, tumor ablation, and spine jack procedures
* Neuro, ER, and ICU experience preferred
* Thrombectomy center experience preferred
* Strong communication skills and ability to manage stressful situations required
* Team-oriented and proactive personality a strong fit for this unit

This hospital is a 272-bed acute care facility featuring a dedicated Interventional Radiology unit with 2 IR suites. The facility supports a skilled and experienced team of technicians and nurses, and handles a wide range of procedures from basic IR to highly complex cases. The organization fosters a fun, collaborative team environment and is equipped with modern GE technology to support high-quality patient care.
