Open Position: RN - CCU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2153.88

Opportunity:

ICU LTACH (CCU also considered)

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts per week
* 36 or 48 hours per week available
* Block scheduling type
* Weekend coverage required
* Staff will work both the 12-bed ICU unit and the 35-bed Med-Surg unit, with floating to Med-Surg at a 1:5 patient ratio
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics (18 years and older)
* Common patient diagnoses include vent weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury, trach/PEG
* Key clinical skills required include arterial line management, central line care, chest tube management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, mechanical ventilation modes, tracheostomy care, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Must be proficient with Epic charting system

Facility:

This facility is a long-term acute care hospital offering specialized ICU and medical-surgical services with a daily census of 35 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services. Staff operate across both a 12-bed ICU unit and a 35-bed Med-Surg unit, delivering advanced care to adult and geriatric patients requiring complex, long-term treatment.
