Pathologists' Assistant

Job Details:

* Day shift position with no on-call, night, weekend, or autopsy coverage required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required in specialty
* 2 years of experience required per travel compliance standards
* ASCP certification and PA(ASCP) certification required
* Prior grossing experience required
* Must be able to perform high complexity testing
* Proficiency in macroscopic description of gross anatomic features required
* Must be able to perform gross examination and dissection of both large/complex specimens and small biopsies
* Sectioning of surgical pathology specimens required
* Hospital clinical laboratory experience required
* Epic Beaker and Voice Dictation experience desired
* Candidates may float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
* Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted at this facility
* Compact or KY State License required
* At least 1 reference required at time of submission
