Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient Rehab

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend schedule requires every third weekend, covering Friday and Saturday nights
* Sundays are considered part of the regular work week with some flexibility available
* Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care, performing all standard medical floor duties except Heparin Drips
* High neurological patient population; stroke certification is a plus but not required
* Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
* Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties
* Utilize nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
* Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills
* Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
* Participate in continuing education
* Maintain complete and accurate medical records
* Current Illinois Registered Nurse license required
* Current CPR/BLS certification required
