RRT - Polysomnography

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend and holiday shifts required as scheduled
* Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* Perform sleep studies in accordance with policy and procedure guidelines in the Sleep Evaluation Center, at the bedside, and in critical care areas
* Conduct approximately 2 sleep tests per shift
* Must be comfortable performing sleep studies on medically complex children
* Pediatric patient population - children's facility
* Scope of work is limited to the Sleep Lab only
* First to float when floating is required
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Equipment used: Respironics, ResMed, and Natus sleep software
* Charting system: EPIC
* 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience required
* West Virginia Licensed Respiratory Therapist Registered (LRTR) or Licensed Respiratory Therapist Certified (LRTC) required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT Verification, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC Verification
* Must hold one of the following NBRC certifications: CPFT, RPFT, CRT, RRT, or SDS

Facility:

This is an acute care children's facility featuring a dedicated Neuro Sleep Lab located on the 10th floor. The facility provides comprehensive sleep study services and is equipped with modern respiratory and sleep study technology. An on-site hospitalist or intensivist is available in-house, and department-specific orientation is provided to support incoming staff.
