MRI Tech

Job Details:

* Work in a busy MRI department with a daily caseload of 50 patients per technologist
* Perform all types of MRI exams including inpatients, outpatients, general anesthesia, vented and sedated, and anxiolysis patients
* Must be able to work days, evenings, occasional overnight shifts, and weekend shifts as needed
* Ability to operate independently as well as part of a team required
* Minimum 1 year of experience with Siemens equipment required; experience with both 1.5T and 3T preferred
* Epic (Excellian) charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT MR, BLS
* Scrub color: Grey
* No on-call required
* Weekend availability required as needed
* Trauma Level I experience required
* Patient age groups served: Adults and Geriatrics
* Required skills include: Abdomen, Brain, Breast, Chest, ER/Trauma, Gradient Echo Imaging, Perfusion, PACS, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, Surface Coils, T-1 and T-2 Weighted Images, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Maximum Intensity Projection, and additional MRI procedures

Facility:

This acute care teaching hospital features 317 staffed beds and holds a Level 3 trauma designation. The facility operates a high-volume MRI department with 3 scanner rooms and supports a broad range of imaging needs across inpatient, outpatient, and specialized care populations.
