Opportunity:

Radiology Technologist - Outpatient

Job Details:

* Day shift position Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians
* Position and instruct patients prior to examination
* Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time for each radiograph
* Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
* Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
* Prepare equipment and examination rooms for patient exams
* Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
* Produce diagnostic images and document exam information
* Report important information to physicians and verify exams on PACS
* Minimum two years of recent experience in radiology required
* Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred
* Required certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R), Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor
* Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required
* Fluoroscopy license required
