RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts available: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, or 12:30 PM - 1:00 AM
* Primary shift notes: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday shifts required
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* 11-bed Emergency Department with 1 trauma bay, averaging 35 patients per day
* Acute care setting within a Critical Access Hospital
* May be required to float throughout Region II facilities, with an additional $20 per hour when floated to a non-primary facility
* First to float within the region when needed
* Charting performed in EPIC EMR system
* Ventilators used: PB980s
* 1 ED provider on site 24 hours per day
* Respiratory therapy available 24/7
* Phlebotomists available for lab draws
* IV team available during business hours
* Charge nurse role available on unit
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC
* Floor-specific orientation provided

This Critical Access Hospital operates a fully staffed Emergency Department designed to provide comprehensive acute care services to the surrounding community. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy support. The organization is part of a larger regional healthcare network, allowing for collaborative patient care across multiple facilities when needed.
