Job Details:

* Night shift position working 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Work three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends
* Every 3rd weekend requirement
* Holiday coverage will be filled in where needed
* No call or standby requirements
* Float coverage to X-ray required
* Perform various imaging studies including head, neck, spines, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, CTAs, PE studies, and run-offs
* Average of 20 scans/studies per day
* Must have experience with head, neck, spines, chest, abdomen, pelvis, CTAs, and PE studies
* Experience with run-offs preferred
* Must be able to start IVs - required
* Department utilizes Canon equipment
* Charting systems include Merge RIS/PACS and MEDITECH
* No specific scrub color required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT) or RT (CT) certification
* West Virginia Radiological Technologist or Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic CT License required through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a CT department equipped with Canon imaging technology and utilizes Merge RIS/PACS and MEDITECH charting systems. The department features one scanner and is supported by a Lead Tech, with radiologist coverage including an on-site radiologist on Tuesday mornings and remote reading services for after-hours and weekend preliminary reads. The facility provides a collaborative environment with cross-training opportunities in X-ray.
