Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1898.20

Opportunity:

CVOR Tech (Main/West Campus)

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday day shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
* On-call up to 50% of the time from end of shift to next morning with a 30-minute call response time required
* On-call up to 50% of weekends
* Acute care setting
* Facility operates 6 ORs (including 1 CVOR) and 1 hybrid room
* 20-30 cases per day including 1-2 CV cases or up to 4 TAVR procedures
* Common cases include CABG, Aortic Valve, Mitral Valve, and TAVR procedures
* Minimum 1 year of open heart experience required
* Scrubbing required for techs
* Scrub techs available on unit
* Charge nurse and specialty leads available as resources; house supervisor in house from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM only
* Required certifications: BLS
* Charting system: Cerner EMR
* Hospital provides scrubs
* Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive cardiovascular operating room program with six operating rooms, including a dedicated CVOR suite and a hybrid room. The facility supports a high volume of complex cardiovascular cases daily and maintains specialty leads and charge nurses to support clinical staff. The organization is equipped with modern technology including Cerner EMR to support efficient and high-quality patient care.
