Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment on a mixed medical-surgical unit
* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* 34-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
* 4 weekend shifts per schedule (every other week)
* On-call requirement of twice per contract
* Float to all med-surg units in-house as needed
* Work with equipment including bladder scanner, Welch Allyn VS, and vein finder
* Use Epic EMR system
* Perform typical procedures including Foley insertion and central line dressing changes
* Required certifications: BLS, NIH
* Preferred certifications: ACLS
* Charge experience preferred
* Scrub color required: Caribbean blue
* Ideal candidate is flexible and organized

This facility is a well-established hospital featuring a dedicated medical-surgical unit with 34 beds and a robust staffing model including charge nurses, registered nurses, and patient care technicians on both day and night shifts. The unit is equipped with modern medical technology and utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system, providing a supportive and structured environment for traveling healthcare professionals.
