Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

RN - MS-Tele Float

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Float pool position covering multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
* May be asked to float to any acuity level including ICU (low acuity holds), PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 based on acuity
* 6-9 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
* May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
* Rare call or standby requirement for low census situations
* Schedule is set by leadership for 6 weeks at a time; travelers are expected to be flexible and help fill gaps in permanent scheduling
* All time off requests must be submitted prior to starting assignment
* 1-2 days of unit-specific orientation with a preceptor
* Charting system: EPIC
* Any scrub color permitted
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of MS-Tele experience
* Prior neuro experience preferred
* Experience titrating Heparin drips required
* Experience with RT equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPap required
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
* BSN not required
* Must be in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote
