Job Details:

* 4x10 day shift schedule
* Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM
* Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM with potential float to another department if not needed in Pediatrics
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Must be open to floating within skillset as needed to meet facility needs
* Work in an outpatient pediatric clinic setting
* Room patients and prep charts
* Answer patient questions via phone and MyChart
* Process patient paperwork as needed
* Perform hearing screenings and vision testing
* Obtain vital signs and record patient history, medications, and allergies
* Administer nebulizer treatments, immunizations, and TB tests
* Perform venipuncture and blood glucose testing via glucometer
* Conduct throat and urine specimen collection and labeling
* Handle telephone triage and patient follow-up phone calls
* Process pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
* Perform suture removal
* Minimum 6 months of experience required; at least 1 year preferred
* MA-C certification required (MA-R not accepted)
* Required certifications: BLS and MA-C
* Proficiency in Epic required
* Knowledge of healthcare terminology required
* Outpatient clinic experience required
* Reliable personal transportation required
* First-time travelers accepted
