Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* Mostly set schedule with weekend rotation dependent on requisition
* On-call responsibilities required: 1 night per week (10:30 PM to following morning) and 1 weekend per month (Friday night through Monday morning)
* If working weekend night schedule, no weekend call required - only 1 weeknight call shift per week
* 30-minute on-call response time required
* Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted unless they have 5+ years of experience
* Required certifications: ARDMS-OB and ABD; RVT preferred; BLS required
* Must be proficient in general scanning skills including vascular (DVT and arterial studies), OBGYN (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester, size and dates, BPP), and general (abdomen, pelvic, testicular)
* Must be comfortable working independently as the sole ultrasound technician on shift
* EMR system: EPIC; PACS: Philips View; Equipment: GE Logiq P9
* Scrub color: Any solid color; no graphics, logos, or designs permitted
* Rare possibility of floating to nearby hospital
* 2-5 days of orientation provided; night shift staff will orient during daytime hours

Facility:

This is a free-standing Emergency Department with 10 beds, primarily serving adult patients with occasional pediatric cases. The facility supports a census of approximately 10 patients per shift and covers a range of specialties including OBGYN, general, abdominal, and vascular cases. On-site support includes ER nurses, ER providers, respiratory therapists, and a manager or supervisor available by phone, with an off-site radiologist providing additional support.
