Job Details:

* Variable night shift position, 5x8 hours, scheduled from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM
* Traveler must be available to work morning shift for two weeks during training and orientation
* Traveler must also be available to assist with evening shift (3:00 PM start) should staffing needs require it
* Must be able to work variable shifts
* Daily average surgical case volume of 30 cases with 14 rooms and average daily tray volume of 250
* Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics
* Documentation systems include EPIC and SPM - SPM experience is required
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred
* No first-time travelers accepted
* Travel experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Required skills include sterilization, decontamination, assembly/wrap, scope/probe reprocessing, equipment documentation, and high-level disinfection (HLD)
* Knowledge of Olympus and Karl Storz flexible scopes preferred
* Preferred certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA, SGNA
* Preferred robotics experience: Davinci XI, Stryker Mako, Medtronic Stealth
* Preferred SPD sterilization equipment experience: Getinge Sterilization, ASP Sterrad, Steris Dryer
* Preferred SPD decontamination equipment experience: Getinge Washer, Medivators
* Will not accept travel pairs
* No time off requests during the first 4 weeks of the schedule
* Looking for travelers willing to extend

This facility is a well-established healthcare organization offering a comprehensive surgical services department with a high daily case volume and a wide range of specialty procedures. The sterile processing department supports 14 surgical rooms and handles an average of 250 trays per day, serving a broad patient population from neonates to geriatrics. The facility utilizes advanced robotic and sterilization equipment and maintains high standards for sterile processing documentation and compliance.
