Job Details:

* 3x12-hour shift contract with opportunity for overtime
* Weekend coverage required every other weekend, may exceed to meet unit needs - 6 weekend shifts per schedule (6 weeks)
* Must be open to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* No call required
* No float required
* Patient ratio of 1:4 (days, nights, and weekends)
* 44-bed emergency department with a daily census of 200
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
* RN scrub color: Navy blue
* Free parking available
* Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
* Stroke receiving and STEMI receiving facility
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted at time of submission
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process and prior to start

Facility:

This acute care hospital features a 44-bed emergency department equipped to handle all differential patient diagnoses. The facility is both a stroke receiving and STEMI receiving center, supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. With 212 total staffed beds and a daily census of 200, this community hospital provides comprehensive care to patients across all age groups.
