Job Details:

* Night shift position working 36 or 48 hours per week
* EPIC experience required
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and safety
* Evaluate progress toward patient outcomes and identify goals for the patient's situation
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing, and caring environment
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and team members
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Required certifications: RN licensure in state of practice, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
