Open Position: LPN - Med Surg

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1352.64

Opportunity:

LVN - MEDSURG/TELE

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 4 weekend shifts per schedule
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:6
* Telemetry experience required
* IV Certification required for LVNs
* BLS certification required
* ACLS and NIH certifications preferred
* Perform typical procedures including dialysis, continuous bladder irrigation (CBI), gastric decompression, and wound care
* Work with equipment including Welch Allyn vital sign monitors, COWs, Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, and Teleneuro
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Must complete MedSurg Assessment, Pharmacology Assessment, and MedSurg Skills checklist
* Navy scrubs required; hoop nose piercings not permitted
* Team-oriented and self-motivated personality preferred

This medical center operates a 34-bed general medical/surgical unit with a dedicated team of clinical nurse coordinators, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and patient care technicians across both day and night shifts.
