Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Sunday through Saturday schedule with weekend coverage required
* Float required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted
* Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and CPI (preferred)
* California state license required in-hand when applying (EMSA not accepted)
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* No RTO within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract preferred
* Required skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration), central line care and management, PICC line management, blood product administration, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), BiPAP/CPAP management, tracheostomy care and management, wound care and wound vac, and isolation precautions and PPE
* Additional skills include accessing and managing ports, chest tube management, continuous bladder irrigation, arterial blood gas interpretation, pacemaker management, peripheral nerve block catheters, pre and post cardiac cath care, post TPA care, post MI care, pre and post hemodialysis management, pre and post neurosurgery care, traumatic brain injury, intracranial bleeds, spinal cord injury, seizure disorders, ortho trauma, total joint replacement, lumbar drains, surgical drains, traction, substance withdrawal, renal failure, CVA, skin grafts, monitoring chemotherapy, and use of rapid response and code teams
