Job Details:

* Night shift position required
* BSN required
* Chart in two EMR systems: Meditech and GE
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); RN-C preferred
* AWHONN staffing ratios followed
* Every 3rd weekend required for day shift; night shift weekends are Friday and Saturday with 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
* Hospital-provided scrubs
* 2-3 shift floor-specific orientation provided
* Care for high-risk OB patients including C-sections performed on the unit, mag patients, and high-risk antepartum patients
* Nurses perform own exams and full assessments; IUPC placement not required
* May float to OB or nursery for tasks but will not take patients in those areas
* Must have high-risk OB experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Strong customer service skills required
* Pharmacy and respiratory therapy available 24/7
* Acute care setting
* Minimum $1.25 per hour parking fee required

This acute care facility operates a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit with 14 beds, including 5 triage/inpatient beds, 6 labor beds, and 2 OR beds. The unit is supported by in-house hospitalist coverage three nights per week, 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory therapy services, and a charge nurse model that prioritizes leadership availability. The facility maintains a strong focus on high-risk obstetric care and emphasizes patient-centered, customer service-oriented nursing practice.
