Opportunity:

Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient

Job Details:

* 1:1 patient caseload with 10-12 patients per daily census and approximately 12 visits per day
* Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Work primarily in outpatient pediatric and adult settings with cross-training opportunities in acute care hospital settings
* Evaluate and treat diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental and speech delays, expressive/receptive speech-language disorders, sensory disorders, feeding and food aversions, neurological conditions (CVA, Parkinson's, Bell's Palsy), DiGeorge's Syndrome, and swallowing dysfunctions
* Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies in both inpatient and outpatient settings
* Conduct Bedside Swallow Evaluations for inpatient care
* Utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices as part of treatment
* Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Interpretation Services, and Transportation
* Block scheduling type
* Meditech charting system experience preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
* ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
* Oklahoma state license or compact license required
* BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required
* Travel pairs allowed
* Local candidates not considered within 45-mile radius
