Job Details:
* 13-week temporary contract assignment
* 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* On-call required including weekends and holidays
* Hospital provided scrubs/dress code
* 3-5 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT (with VI or CV credential) or RCIS, BLS
* Must be registered as ARRT-R with VI or CV credential or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
* Graduate of accredited school of radiologic or cardiovascular technology required
* Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Vascular Specialist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist required
* Assist in advanced procedures such as pulmonary thrombectomy, AAA, TEVAR, and FEVAR
* Assist with complex procedures including multiple wire exchanges and use of long wires and OTW balloons
* Operate specialty devices such as laser, penumbra, Inari, and shockwave equipment
* Circulate, monitor, and scrub all Interventional Vascular procedures
* Troubleshoot imaging equipment in collaboration with biomedical engineers
* Participate in procedural charging and supply management
* Manage access site including sheath removal, hematoma assessment, and hematoma management
* Precept new staff and students
* Apply knowledge of radiation safety, vascular anatomy, sterile technique, and lesion recognition
* Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and medical staff
* Act quickly and decisively in emergency situations
