Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required
* Home unit is 2W with potential floating to any med/surg unit on any campus in Fargo as needed
* Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift
* 10-bed department
* Cancellation policy allows up to 12 hours every 13 weeks
* Scrubs: Navy Blue required
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of med/surg experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
* Experience working in a larger hospital with a minimum of 250 beds and a Level 2 or higher trauma center required
* Recent travel experience required, preferably within the last year; must show completed travel assignments
* Must be proficient with Epic EMR
* Equipment utilized includes Epic EMR, AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, and Telemetry
* General med/surg patient population with collaboration across inter-professional teams including physicians
* Demonstrates competency within full scope of nursing expertise using age and population specific standards
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* North Dakota or compact state RN license required, or willingness to obtain
* BSN not required
* Charting system: Epic

The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and supports a collaborative, inter-professional care environment across multiple campuses.
