Open Position: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Opportunity:

Cath Lab RN

Job Details:

* Work 4 shifts per week on 9-hour day shifts
* Some weeknight call required, approximately 10 calls per month
* Weekend call required on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday approximately every 3rd weekend
* Holiday call is required and shared amongst staff, including 1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday
* Call response time of 30 minutes required
* Circulate and monitor cases including pre and post procedure care
* Conduct pre and post procedure patient calls
* Treat patients with common diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, pacemakers, and IR patients in a combined lab
* Average of 4 cases per day across 2 suites/labs
* Cath Lab experience required; IR experience or willingness to learn preferred
* BSN not required
* Float within zone 3 locations may be required in cases of extreme need
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
* EMR and equipment used: Epic, MacLab, Siemens
* Scrub blues provided
* Acute care setting

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a combined Catheterization and Interventional Radiology lab with 2 suites, handling an average of 4 cases per day. The unit is supported by cardiologists who are in-house during the day and available on call overnight. The facility uses Epic as its primary charting system and maintains a collaborative team environment with dedicated nursing coordinators and management staff.
